Some of the key provisions include:
An immediate end to military operations between the two sides and their allies, including in Lebanon.
Both countries agree to respect each other’s sovereignty and avoid interference in internal affairs.
A commitment to negotiate a final agreement within 60 days, with the option to extend by mutual consent.
The U.S. will begin lifting its naval blockade, while Iran will facilitate commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran agrees to allow safe commercial passage through the Strait for 60 days.
The U.S. and regional partners will work on a $300 billion reconstruction and economic development plan for Iran.
The U.S. commits to lifting sanctions as part of a final agreement tied to nuclear compliance.
Iran reaffirms that it will not develop nuclear weapons, while both sides negotiate the handling of enriched uranium under international supervision.
Until a final deal is reached, both sides agree to maintain the status quo—no new sanctions or military escalation.
The U.S. will issue waivers allowing the export of Iranian oil and related services.
Frozen Iranian assets will be made available for use under mutually agreed procedures.
A joint implementation and monitoring mechanism will oversee compliance.
