OFFICIALLY POSTPONED: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos Game Officially Postponed Because… See More
However, that claim is false. As of now, the NFL has not announced any postponement of the Chiefs vs. Broncos Week 1 matchup.
The game is still scheduled to be played on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Arrowhead Stadium as the first Monday Night Football game of the season.
The confusion appears to have started from viral social media posts using misleading headlines to attract clicks.
While the Chiefs have dealt with some injury concerns during training camp, including offensive lineman Josh Simmons’ back issue, there has been no official decision to delay or postpone the game.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the AFC West showdown, with Patrick Mahomes expected to lead Kansas City against a Denver team looking to continue its recent success in the rivalry.
What do you think? Will the Chiefs start the season with a win over the Broncos?
