Watch the full video of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ attack on ex Cassie Ventura shown in sex-trafficking trial

A newly released, extended version of surveillance footage shows Sean “Diddy” Combs violently assaulting singer Cassie Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. The disturbing video was presented to jurors at Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial and has now been made public.
The longer version of the footage reveals not only the physical assault but also the chaotic aftermath — including a security guard’s attempt to de-escalate the situation. The incident took place at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, with cameras capturing Combs dragging Ventura down a hallway and hurling what appears to be a flower vase at her as she backed into a corner.
Moments later, then-assistant security director Israel Florez is seen emerging from an elevator and intervening. Florez, now an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department, testified Monday in Manhattan federal court, stating that Combs told him the altercation began after an argument with Ventura.
Florez submitted his incident report to the court, including photos of the aftermath inside Combs’ hotel room. He also claimed that Combs attempted to bribe him with $100, allegedly saying, “I got you, let’s go to my room.” Florez refused the offer, telling Combs, “Out of respect for the guest and myself, do me the favor and let’s return you to your room.”
The footage then shows Florez walking Combs back to his room, while Ventura appears in the frame and heads in the same direction. According to Florez, Combs became agitated again when he saw Ventura, raising his voice. Florez warned him that if he didn’t calm down, he would be escorted out of the hotel.
Combs allegedly pulled out a large wad of cash, which Florez again declined, instructing him simply to stay in his room until checkout. Florez testified that he physically blocked the doorway to prevent Combs from following Ventura, allowing her to safely leave the room.
“I started to leave, and [Combs] called me back,” Florez told the court. “He had a sack of money, and he threw it at me, saying, ‘Don’t tell anyone.’”
During cross-examination, Combs’ attorney, Brian Steel, questioned whether Florez considered the payment a bribe. “100%,” Florez responded.
On Tuesday, jurors were again shown the now-infamous 2016 footage. Ventura, speaking in a soft voice barely above a whisper, narrated the events as they unfolded in the video.
“How many times had Sean thrown you to the ground like that before?” prosecutor Emily Johnson asked.
“Too many to count,” Ventura replied.
