Travis and Jason Kelce set to welcome mom Donna on next ‘New Heights’ episode after Eagles hero announced retirement – and will the Chiefs star discuss his Australia trip to see girlfriend Taylor Swift?
Travis and Jason Kelce appear to be joined by their mom Donna on Wednesday’s episode of New Heights, the first since Jason announced his NFL retirement.
The brothers shared a picture with Donna on their New Heights Instagram account on Tuesday afternoon, with the podcast returning after a week off. ‘New episode drops TOMORROW,’ read the caption.
On Monday, Jason tearfully announced the end of his 13-year football career with the Philadelphia Eagles at a 40-minute press conference.
Donna and Travis were in attendance to support him, as was their father Ed, and the brothers and their mom are set to reflect on the moment for the first time on this week’s episode.
Furthermore, it is the first podcast Travis has recorded since flying out to Australia to briefly join girlfriend Taylor Swift for her Eras Tour before returning to Las Vegas for an extra round of Super Bowl celebrations with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The brothers typically record their show on Tuesday afternoons but are rarely able to be together during the NFL season.
While they reunited in Philadelphia ahead of Jason’s announcement, they are expected to be in Cleveland tonight for the Cavaliers NBA game.
Their hometown NBA team are honoring the two brothers for their game against Boston Celtics, with fans in attendance able to collect a Kelce bobblehead and buy their merch, with some of the proceeds going to charity.
It comes amid reports that the Kelce brothers could land a new $100million deal to continue producing their New Heights podcast.
They started the show in September 2022 and it has become one of the most popular sporting podcasts around, helped in no small part by Travis dating Swift.
Speaking last month about the surge in popularity of the podcast, Jason said: ‘I haven’t been this connected with Travis, over the last two years, since college.
