Here is HOW LONG Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce HAVE KEPT their engagement A SECRET

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce managed to keep their engagement under wraps for weeks before going public, Page Six has learned.
A source exclusively revealed Tuesday that the Kansas City Chiefs star actually popped the question “a couple of weeks ago,” though the exact date remains unclear. It’s not known whether the proposal took place before or after the couple recorded her appearance on his New Heights podcast, which aired August 13.
The pair, both 35, finally confirmed the news on Tuesday with a joint Instagram post. Kelce cheekily captioned it: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.”
The slideshow featured the NFL tight end getting down on one knee in a stunning garden setting, presenting Swift with an old mine brilliant-cut sparkler co-designed by Kindred Lubec. The romantic reveal was set to her song “So High School,” which she has since confirmed was inspired by Kelce himself.
According to insiders, Kelce’s family knew about the engagement well before it was made public. We’re told they are “happy” and “thrilled” to officially welcome Swift into the family.
Swift and Kelce’s love story began in summer 2023, after the Super Bowl champ boldly declared on New Heights that he wanted to meet the pop superstar on her Eras Tour and give her his number.
Swift later recalled on Wondery’s record-breaking podcast episode that his grand gesture reminded her of a classic John Hughes movie.
“He threw a tantrum. He threw a man-tantrum,” she joked. “At first, I thought, ‘This dude didn’t get a meet-and-greet and now he’s making it everyone’s problem.’ But then I was like, if this guy isn’t crazy — which was a big if — this is exactly the kind of wild romantic gesture I’ve written songs about since I was a teenager.”
Representatives for Swift, Kelce, their families, and the podcast have not yet commented.
