Firkser, who previously played for the Chiefs in 2017 and found success with the Tennessee Titans, adds depth to the tight end position. These developments suggest that Reid may be planning to modify Kelce’s responsibilities, possibly to manage his workload or prepare for a future without him.

Kelce has been given until March 14 to decide on his retirement, and his decision will significantly impact the Chiefs’ offensive strategy moving forward.
