Blake Lively still invited to Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl box despite Justin Baldoni drama
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are still invited to Taylor Swift’s Superbowl Box, despite rumors saying the singer is keeping her distance from the actress.
Taylor Swift has yet to retract her invitation to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds to join her in her box at Super Bowl LIX.
Rumors have spiraled saying the Blank Space singer is “taking a step back” from Lively after her ongoing legal battle with her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, who she accused of several crimes including sexual harassment.
A source told the Daily Mail: “For the time being she is taking a step back because she doesn’t want to get tangled in this more than she already has – which is far more than she ever needed to be.”
Apparently the rumors are “not true” as another insider told Page Six Swift is “still best friends” with Lively.
This news comes just as the singer sent out invites to a few of her closest friends to join her in watching her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs Travis Kelce, at the biggest sporting event of the year.
“Taylor would like to have some of her close friends and family all together and be there to show love and support her man,” an insider told The U.S Sun.
She allegedly has asked Lively and Ice Spice to accompany her in a box at the Caesars Superdome. The two both joined her at the event last year. She has also extended an invite to Sabrina Carpenter, Selena Gomez, and Benny Blanco.
On behalf of her boyfriend, Swift has also invited Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds, who reportedly is close to the tight end.
“Blake and Ryan have been talking with Taylor and Travis about it when they spent days together a couple of months ago, and they told them not to book anything for that time of the year and to get ready to go to New Orleans at the beginning of the year,” the source said.
The Deadpool actor has apparently returned the invite to the NFL star and asked him to come watch his soccer team, Wrexham A.F.C., once the football season ends.
Super Bowl LIX will take place on February 9 with the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles.
