Donna Kelce ‘cry’ as Travis Kelce performs girlfriend Taylor Swift’s ‘heart hands’ gesture
Travis Kelce performed Taylor Swift’s signature “heart hands” gesture in honour of his girlfriend after scoring a touchdown in the NFL play-offs.
Swift has frequently performed the signal during her Eras tour and the star’s fans were quick to pick up on Kelce’s tribute during the Kansas City Chiefs’ 27-24 win at the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
After his touchdown in the second quarter, the tight end, 34, formed a heart with his hands in the direction of the singer, who was watching the game alongside Kelce’s family and her friend, the model Cara Delevingne, from a suite at Highmark Stadium in New York.
Travis just did the heart hands after his touchdown … I’m crying,” wrote one fan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Another said: “This is my favourite rom-com.” On Instagram, one user posted an image of the celebration and described the couple as “Miss Americana and the Football Prince”.
Swift, 34, was seen cheering during Kelce’s big moment. But her celebrations were muted compared to those displayed by the American football star’s older brother and Philadelphia Eagles player Jason, who was so excited by his sibling’s success that he defied the freezing temperatures and removed his shirt.
