Jason Kelce Congratulates 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, With a “Thumbs Up” on Instagram as he Marries college sweetheart Jenna Brandt
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy married his college sweetheart Jenna Brandt over the weekend, putting a huge silver lining on the Niners’ bittersweet offseason.
The wedding took place Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa, according to TMZ. The pair have been dating for several years and met while playing for Iowa State, Purdy on the football team and Brandt on the volleyball team.
(Brandt is from the tiny town of Sumner, Iowa, while Purdy grew up in Mesa, Ariz.) In 2022, Purdy was the final pick in the NFL Draft, giving him the infamous nickname Mr. Irrelevant. Brandt transferred to Northern Iowa where she was a kinesiology major.
Photos show the couple went with classic vibes: Purdy sported a black tuxedo, black tie and white corsage, and Brandt wore a sleeveless, mermaid-style gown. TMZ reports around 350 people attended the wedding, although it’s not clear if any 49ers teammates were in attendance.
