Vic Reeves’ wife Nancy Sorrell, 50, shows off her figure in a colourful bikini as the pair share fun snaps hitting the beach in Kent

Nancy Sorrell showed off her vibrant style and enviable figure in a colorful bikini as she hit the beach in Kent with her husband, comedian Vic Reeves. The couple, who have been married for over two decades, shared fun and playful snaps from their seaside outing on Instagram this week, delighting fans as the UK basks in a summer heatwave.
Nancy, 50, looked radiant as she posed by the shore, while Vic, 66 — whose real name is James Moir — went shirtless beside his wife, smiling for the camera. The pair also posted a lighthearted video of themselves cooling off in the water, waving joyfully back at the shore.
Vic captioned the post with his signature humor: “Not waving, but drowning. Or the mermaid and the walrus. And a stone shark. English coastal waters. @nancy_sorrell.”
The longtime couple share twin daughters, Elizabeth and Nell, and Nancy is also stepmother to Vic’s adult children, Alice, 32, and Louis, 27, from his previous marriage to Sarah Vincent.
Nancy first met Vic in 2001 when they both appeared on a BBC Two show. She later made guest appearances on his popular comedy series Shooting Stars, which he co-created and hosted with comedy partner Bob Mortimer. The pair quickly connected, and their relationship has stood the test of time despite early skepticism.
In a past interview, Nancy opened up about the public’s reaction to their 15-year age gap. “They said it was only going to last two weeks,” she recalled. “People kept pointing out the age difference, but it was irrelevant to us. At the beginning it was tough—we didn’t understand why people thought our relationship would end. But we just ignored it.”
She added, “People we knew personally were fine, but everyone else seemed to think it was a joke. I think we’ve proved them wrong.”
Earlier this year, Jim (Vic) opened up about his life post-fame, sharing how he now enjoys a quieter existence in Kent after stepping away from his comedy persona. In an interview with The Times, he reflected on his diagnosis with a benign brain tumor in 2021, which left him completely deaf in one ear and affected his ability to enjoy music and birdwatching — two of his favorite pastimes.
Despite the challenges, Jim says he has embraced routine and now spends much of his time painting. “I like to get four hours in by 10am,” he said. “Music drowns out the tinnitus caused by the tumor, and I got used to being 100% deaf in one ear quite quickly.”
He also shared that while most people associate him with his alter ego Vic Reeves, his true passion lies in visual art. “Comedy was a bit of a distraction,” he admitted. “I like being at home and doing a different kind of art. Bird prints are my bread and butter, but I’m also doing bronzes and lots of beetles.”
Jim also named his 97-year-old mother as his role model and emphasized how much he values peace, routine, and creativity in his daily life. “I get up early, go into the studio, paint, and take a walk in the afternoon. I like that a lot better.”
In September 2023, the couple celebrated 20 years of marriage. Jim marked the milestone by sharing adorable throwback snaps of the pair wearing matching T-shirts with playful photos and the caption, “Happy anniversary to us. 20 years of love and happiness.” Nancy sweetly replied, “Love you Bee.”
